ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Reina Bonici-Mompalao-Lee calls herself a true European; half English, half Maltese and born in The Netherlands, having lived in the UK, Malta, Germany and The Netherlands.

She lives with her husband and young daughter in Buckinghamshire, surrounded by the beautiful Chiltern Hills, having moved there from South-East London in search of a slower pace of life.

As a graduate, Reina embarked on a career in media and broadcasting which has spanned 23 years and has provided her the opportunity of working in both radio and television.

Since becoming a mother and moving to Buckinghamshire, Reina has given up the London commute and has spent the last 2 years focusing on other pursuits.

When Reina’s not working, doing the school run or focusing on her new love of writing books, she can be found swimming laps of the pool, reading and going for country walks with her husband and daughter.  She has recently taken up Tai Chi which is proving to be great fun and very therapeutic.
